In 1890 Shōseki published a four volume, woodblock-printed picture book entitled Shichijūnikō Meika Hana Gajō (i.e., Picture Album of Great Flowers Arranged by Seasons). Twenty-eight of the pictures included in this book are shown here. Click on a picture to enlarge it.
